The Matthews Alive Festival is a Labor Day weekend celebration that continues nearly 50 years of tradition in downtown Matthews, North Carolina!
Our festival is packed with family activities, great food, arts, and fantastic entertainment spread over four days.
A portion of the proceeds earned at Matthews Alive go back to non-profit organizations so that they may provide services to enhance the quality of life in our area. To date, Matthews Alive has contributed more than $2.2 million into our local community.
Vendors
Apply to become a small shop or food vendor and share your unique product with over 100,000 visitors to the festival each year.
Volunteer
From our Board of Directors to our trash collection crew, volunteers are the heart of the festival. Find ways to volunteer during the festival and throughout the year.
Parade Participants
Grab a walking group, vehicle, or a special float and participate in the crowd-favorite parade.
