Matthews Alive brings in the top amusements company in the Southeast to provide our major rides and attractions at the festival. This area of the festival is truly the hub of the energy and action of the festival. Imagine the lights flashing, music and bells, and the sounds of kids laughing and having their best days of the summer!
This is Matthews Alive.
Matthews Alive is the single largest annual fund raising event in Matthews, NC. Net proceeds from the rides & games area, from wristband purchases and single ride tickets, go right back into the local community. When you pass a game booth, and you see the folks working that game, they are your neighbors & friends, volunteering their time for the non-profit group that they represent.
And in the end, festival proceeds go back to those groups to support them in their endeavors in our community.
